Default Gnome 3.8.3: Gnome-shell search does not work

    Hello
    I use OpenSUSE 12.3 64 bits.
If I search for "firefox", no result; if I search for "transmission", no result, etc.
    Any solution?

    Hi,
I use KDE, not Gnome, so I'm probably not the one that can help you that much.

But anyway, it is quite clear that you could give a bit more information.

When did you install 12.3 ?

In which way did you install ?

What kind of PC are you using ?

If you say more about that then chances are that you get an answer.
