  1. #1

    Default GTK3 Oxygen Problem

GTK3 applications in KDE has some serious problems about appereance with oxygen.
It doesnt show any element until cursor enters the area of element, it shows colors of these elements wrong/unadapted.
    gtk3-theme-oxygen
    gtk3-engine-oxygen
    kde-gtk-config packages are installed.

elements get visible and colors get adapted when cursor gets their area.
    and these are original settings.
    nothing seems wrong.

You could tell us what version of openSUSE you're running so someone with
    the same version could verify.

does it appear fine if you use a different gtk3 theme?

Can't reproduce in 12.2 using the same settings as you.

    . . . and a different theme?
How about if you change the gtk3 theme from oxygen-gtk to adwaita? Do you still see the problem in gtk3 apps then?

seems to be a problem - has been discussed previously here

    https://forums.opensuse.org/english/...ectly-kde.html

    bug report here

    https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=811900

recommended workaround for the moment seems to be - don't use oxygen-gtk for gtk3 apps in openSUSE 12.3
