    Default What packages are available?

    Hi all

I just upgraded to 12.3 KDE, easiest ever.

But please somewhere there should be a list of what Packages are available at
    software.opensuse.org: Search

I am scratching around, even using Google! But can not find a list

    Where is it hiding?
    thanks

The online tool doesn't seem to be built for browsing (that I've found), it's built for looking for specific packages.

But, you can add any repositories of interest to your machine, do a repo refresh and then you can browse packages in YAST.

You won't find a definitive list, any more than you would find a
definitive list of software available for Windows or OSX.

If there's something specific you're looking for, use the search function
on software.opensuse.org. If what you're looking for isn't available
there, chances are it can be built and published there pretty easily.

You might have better luck with YaST

Also you can now browse the "AppStore" http://software.opensuse.org/appstore
    GNOME Version 3.20.2
    openSUSE Leap 42.3 64-bit

    Go here:

    Code:
    http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/
That's the entire list of repos and packages. Not a flat list, but a tree.

However, on each repository there is a "repodata" directory; the files
inside contains all the metadata used by the package managers to find
    packages and their dependencies.

It is that metadata which is then used by tools such as webpin or the
    opensuse search.
