    Default Modding Amarok

    I would like to know how to change Amarok to pull it's info from wikipedia to metal-archives.com Does anyone know how to do this?

    This one guys did it here: MIB - Mandriva International Backports - Mandriva Linux Forum - OpenMandriva Linux Forum - ROSA Linux Forum • View topic - Amarok 1.4.10 with Metal-Archives.com support patch
    But left no download link

    The patch would probably be available through Mandriva repos

    Hi
    You would need to grab the source and then look at the patch (each
    file indicated by the 'diff'), for example;
    Code:
    diff -urN clementine-1.0.0/src/ui/mainwindow.cpp clementine-1.0.0-patched/src/ui/mainwindow.cpp
    In amarok is there a mainwindow.cpp file, this would then need adapting
    as per each change, then recompiling.

    Looking at the Amarok code and the patch it is quite a bit different, adding that patch to clementine-player (since it hasn't been merged) should get it going I assume. Else someone with more experience with c++ may be able to assist you in comparing and patching Amarok...
