Working on Dell Inspiron-1520 laptop using openSUSE-12.1
I get the following error while starting f-spot. My system has been updated to the latest patches. The error details are as follows:

hmmm, better to maybe contact the f-spot or .net people for that one.

openSUSE 12.1 will meet its end of life and support “on May 15th 2013

you should use these few remaining days to transition to a version of
openSUSE which will continue to be security patched after the 15th of
May (today, those are 12.2 and 12.3)…

in my mind that is much more important that trying to get f-spot to
work.
