Default Skype Voice calls and usb headsets

    Dear all, I would
like to ask you if the opensuse 12.2 is able to support usb headsets
    like this one

Sennheiser PC 8 USB - USB Headset Stereo - PC Headset - Noise Cancelling Microphone
Did you have in the past such experience with usb headsets. Do these work over skype and pulse audio?

I would like to thank you in advance for your help

    Regards
    Alex

You won't likely get an answer for a question that is specific to some extremely unusual hardware.

But, you can search for how reviews and experiences using it with Linux in general, many distros share a general multimedia support which includes phonon and alsa. So, a search for how those architectures support specific headphones might turn up something.

I would expect that more general support like device identification, class, functionality shouldn't be an issue (but no guarantees).

And, you can always ask the manufacturer what kind of testing they've done and whether they've tried their products on non-Windows machines.
