Default How to confirm 3D acceleration is enable on 12.3

I have the NVIDIA driver installed and I would like to confirm that 3D is enable. Where do I find this information; it's not obvious.

    Thanks.

You should be able to click the kickstart menu and then mouse over computer and the click on KinfoCenter. You then need to look into OpenGL information. It is still a little vague as to what is going on but if you click on OpenGL/ES and see a bunch of extensions then you can assume you have 3D,

Or better still, open the Nvidia configuration program and check there.

    --------------------
    Geeko-->System-->Configuration-->Configure NVIDIA...
    --------------------

Under GLX Information, if Direct Rendering is set to yes you most likely
    have 3D support.

Or run glxgears. If acceleration isn't enabled, it'll be really obvious
    from the frame rates.

Okay. Now that one has determined that we don't have "Direct Rendering" setup, how does one setup "Direct Rendering"?

Sorry I can't help further as I use the proprietary driver, which do you
    use?

I, too, use the proprietary driver.

    Code:
    glxinfo2 | grep OpenGL
    and / or
    Code:
    glxinfo | grep direct
If the output of the second command shows "yes" you're in business.

I think so, but this is what I see.

I probably have to edit the pic above; my first time attaching a pic.
