    Default pam_apparmor

Since installed apparmor seeing similar to these messages:

    Code:
    linux-gedt:~ # grep 'cron' /var/log/messages
    ---deleted---
Mar 3 22:15:01 linux-gedt /usr/sbin/cron[4523]: pam_apparmor(crond:session): Unknown error occurred changing to root hat: Operation not permitted
Mar 3 22:30:01 linux-gedt /usr/sbin/cron[4962]: pam_apparmor(crond:session): Unknown error occurred changing to root hat: Operation not permitted

This also looks like pam_apparmor (cron switches users when running non-root
cronjobs) and is most probably a duplicate of bug 807106. This also means the
log messages should go away after uninstalling pam_apparmor.

If you notice "real" problems, for example log messages that do not contain
    apparmor="DENIED" operation="change_hat" info="unconfined"
or something blocked/not working, please reopen.

(And: Thanks a lot for your bugreports!)

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 807106 ***

Notice that pam_apparmor has been installed by YaST default config, not me, so
I expect it should work out of the box :-)

    pam_apparmor is part of patters-openSUSE-apparmor ;-)
(marked as recommended, but not required)
    Try this solution

    Removed pam_apparmor around time 22:44

See if log messages ceased after uninstalled pam_apparmor.

Last same error still 22:30 so removal pam_apparmor appeared to fixed this error.

are you asking for help in this forum named (at the top of
    http://forums.opensuse.org/english/g.../applications/)

Forum: Applications - Questions about desktops (KDE, Gnome, XFCE,
etc.), software applications (configuration, usage, bugs, documentation)

anyway, i didn't see either a question mark or a question!

Please notice that those problems are related to the 12.3 RC2 version,
and as such should be asked in the beta forum, not here.

Please ask a moderator to move this thread.

(I am the reporter of those bugzillas you mention below).

I have been seeing these errors logged for a while. I'm pretty sure I saw them prior to 12.3.

I have been ignoring them, since they don't appear to be causing noticeable problems.
