    Default Netbeans 7.2.1 dies

    Hi

Does somebody work here with Netbeans 7.2.1 on OpenSUSE 12.2?? My problem is that Netbeans 7.2.1 dies short after launch but a week ago it worked without any problems. It's not a big problem as at the moment I'm using therefore eclipse (Juno) and I can do my work there but I like/use some features of Netbeans which are not in Eclipse. I'm using openJDK (OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea7 2.3.4) (suse-3.20.1-x86_64)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 23.2-b09, mixed mode)). Any suggestions are welcome.

Sure everything installed as without java-jdk there is no javac available - I have solved it: deinstalled all java packages and reinstall it and it works but I do not know what happened that Netbeans died short after application launch. HD checked, memory is fine, cooling works - no logfiles why it crashed/died and there were no updates which belong to openJDK in the past week. Maybe Netbeans do not like openjdk as on my main developer box I'm using Oracle's jdk 7u13 and it feels much snappier as with openJDK. However thank you for your posting - back to work.
