UK users or if you have a UK proxy can you see if you can play
    Eg: Episode 8: Heat 3 | World's Strongest Man 2012 | Channel 5

    Tried: Chrome, FFox, Chromium, Opera

Playback works in Windows with all browsers.

I tried viewing via a free UK proxy, I got past the location restriction message, and proceeded to watch

    A Grandpa For Christmas | Channel 5

No errors, but only got a black screen. (Using FF 17, with default flash on openSUSE 12.2.) The streaming rate may have been insufficient with the proxy selected for testing perhaps.

A bit off-topic, but since free proxies have been mentioned here, last week someone pointed me to tunlr.net and guess what? I can watch any iplayer content without using a proxy. Just created an extra entry for the networkmanager using the DNS's mentioned.
