Question Font Manager and Screenshot with keyboard

    Hey guys,

Does anybody know what can I use as a Font Manager on Opensuse 12.2? I know it comes with Font Viewer that allows me to install fonts, but I'm looking for something more, like select a few fonts at the same time and install them all at the same time, not one by one (like font viewer), also how can I take a screenshot using the keyboard (PrtScn key), not the screenshot application, I tried the PrtScn key but I didn't get anything, so I was wondering if I needed to configure something (the keyboard perhaps).

    Thanks.

    Thanks.
    Try ALT-PRTSCN.
Also, do you know what you did failed? Is anything on your clipboard, eg try opening GIMP and pasting whatever is default.

Sorry, haven't used a Font Manager in a long time...

That's the weird thing, when I hit PrtScn or Alt+PrtScn I hear the camera sound, but nothing is on my clipboard and when I try to paste it I get nothing.

I just re-checked the keyboard configuration and it says Copy Screenshot to Clipboard is Ctrl+Alt+PrtScn but it also says that PrtScn should take a screenshot, but if it's not putting it in the clipboard, where the heck is it putting it?

    Thanks for your help.

Never mind, I found the screenshots I took in my pictures folder, but if somebody knows about a Font Manager, please let me know.

    Thanks.

Have you tried to use Config System --> System Administration --> Font
Management? This will list all installed fonts, click ADD, then select
where you want to install from (example I have a DVD with fonts on it),
Sell the font you want to install and click where you want to install it
(Personal or System). You can select multiple fonts with the Shift key
    or Ctrl key.

    Hope this helps.

Either I don't have this tool or I just can't find it, I checked in the System Settings and YaST and they are not there, do you know how is called? is it for KDE, GNOME or both? because I have GNOME, I just don't like the way KDE looks like these days.

    Thanks

OK I see it in KDE running fontinst, but when I check this file, all it does is run TeX, is there anything like this for GNOME?

    Thanks

I don't use GNOME so I don't know if there is an equal. Not sure why it
run TeX which I also don't use. Mine lists all installeded fonts. if
Click ADD I can ad from disk, thumb drive and DVD or CD.

I always install them in system so they are availble for all users of
    system.

Sorry I can not help more.
