    Default Create Desktop Shortcut on suse12.2

    I am new opensuse environment, i installed opensuse 12.2 in vmware player and installation progress was good. Then i successfully installed eclipse juno for avr developement. Every time i launched apps from terminal, so i want to create shortcut on desktop, please give some useful steps?

    To be of any help, people here at least must know which desktop you are using. Every desktop has it's own way of configuring. E.g. people using KDE can not help you when you use Gnome.

    sorry for inconvenient, i am using opensuse 12.2 with kde desktop. I don't know how to identify which type desktop? finally i got from system menu and is there any command for that?
