Default Xfce windows not fully visible

    Dear all,
I have installed opensuse 12.2 with the xfce.
So far I like it but there are two needed improvements

One of these improvements are that in the current window not all the contents are visible and there is no scroll bar to scroll down to see the rest of the content.

    Example A.
Yast window not fully visible and no scrollbar. See for example that the Ok button is not visible at all
ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting The window is cut to where the image shows . Pressed print screen to capture what I see

    Example B.
Inside opera window appears for accepting or not a certificate. As you can see this is also hidden and not further visible.
ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting

I am not sure if Example A and B fall under the same category.

I would like to thank you in advance for your help

It looks like a windowmanager problem not starting.
Run this in a terminal or use the run command by pressing Alt-F2 and type this
    Code:
    xfwm4 --replace

Xfce is having a problem in some if not all nvidia graphic cards when compositing
is enabled. It hit one of my machine here and I shifted this to LXDE.

It sounds to me like you are running your display way below "normal"
resolution, e.g. 640 by 480 and your x server is expecting more. Recheck
    your video and display settings.
