Installed APACHE Web Server returning "403 Forbidden" Http response
After successfully installing the Apache HTTPD web server and taking a break, I tried to retrieve the default index.html from the server using http://localhost in my browser. Every time I try to access the server, it returns the HTTP response code 403 forbidden with the message "You don't have permission to access / on this server." and I assume that by /, it means the DocumentRoot folder that is specified in the httpd.conf file. I am running openSUSE version 12 and using Apache server version 2.4.2. Sorry if I sound ignorant or childish, I am only 14 years old and I have not previously worked with web servers.
