On fresh boot of Opensuse 12.2 64 bit Gnome system, before running any user initiated applications, a zombie process “xdg-user-dirs.s” exists on my system.
I have not found a way of killing it using normal methods (kill -9 … as root etc).
OK to ignore? ‘Zombie’ has negative connotations, but I’m open to the idea there might be occasions when a zombie serves a purpose.
