Thread: Problems removing items from applications menu in GNOME 3.4

Default Problems removing items from applications menu in GNOME 3.4

I was talking about this in another recent previous thread, but I thought it would be better if I made a new topic.

I'm using latest Wine 1.5.16. I installed the demo version of a game called Limbo using Wine, then I uninstalled it using its uninstaller and then deleted the wineprefix. Some direct accesses from the game remained in the menu, in the Wine section of Applications. I tried typing "menu" to enter Main menu app and delete those items, but when selecting them and hitting "delete" nothing happens!

    Any help about this? Thanks.

By the way, I created a signature with my specs to avoid always typing it at the beginning of each opened topic.

Seemingly solved: I had to first delete directory
    .local/share/applications/wine

Rebooted, tried again deleting the shortcuts in the Main Menu app and strangely it worked this time.
