I got a copy of crossover from Codeweavers for free using their one day
offer, that was published in the chit chat forum here. Nice software.
There will be support in a week or so, they said.

Meanwhile I'm trying to setup the kobo desktop software
(http://www.kobosetup.com/) which is needed to upload bought books to
the kobo ereader. I normally have to boot W7 in my laptop to do this,
but perhaps I can do it instead in Linux with crossover. The non
officially supported Linux version of the desktop app was abandoned
recently when its developer was sent to another post.

The installer runs. It wants me to plug in the ereader, which I do, but
it doesn't see it. From
"http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=184541" I know that I
have to configure wine and set the floppy drive (E: on my machine) to
/media/KOBOereader/ to recognise the KT.

How do I that in crossover? Preferably before installation starts, so
that the install program sees it.
