Default Resizing konsole 4.9.2 makes it transparent

On my opensuse 12.2 box, I'm running kde 4.9 and specifically konsole-4.9.2-46.1.x86_64.

When I manually resize konsole, it becomes completely transparent. I can recover my (black) background by repeatedly typing carriage returns. Does anyone else have this problem?

Thanks. When I turn off Desktop Effects, I don't see this problem. But, it does recur when I turn them on again. Perhaps there's one effect that's responsible. I'll experiment with them.

There is a transparency setting in the konsole too that is related to kwin settings for transparency in desktop transparency settings.
Ideally you should report this in the kde mailing list or at Bugzilla
