Default installation 12.2 on hp 655 cannot connect to oss repo

Installed 12.2 on hp655, at first login I hadn't any graphics screen.
I can have graphics (quite good screen) screen only in recovery mode.
I applied this procedure with grub2, and now I can access graphically (ugly screen) in normal desktop mode.
now I would like to install atiupgrade, but launching install remove software it says me:

impossibile accedere al supporto di installazione [impossible to access to installation support]
    http://download.opensuse.org/distrib...ss/(supporto1).
verificare che il server sia accessibile [verify the server]

    showing details the result is:
    URL: Index of /distribution/12.2/repo/oss
File '/repodata/repomd.xml' non trovato nel supporto 'http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/12.2/repo/oss/'

I verified the server Index of /distribution/12.2/repo/oss is perfectly accessible by firefox.

I skipped that and I succeed to install atiupgrade adding the try_again repo, but now atiupgrade look for the oss repo too, and cannot install the ati driver.

is there anything I can do to access to oss repo and install the ati driver??

    thnx, ciao, pier

The european Servers from ati seems to be unavailable. I used the USA server via the ati driver download page for usa. ATI upgrade will not work, but i had success after installing the ati proprietary drivers manually. (This worked with an ati graphic card in my desktop pc. Don t know, if it will work in your notebook, too).
