    Default OpenGL issue

    I am using openSUSE 12.2 x86_64 KDE.

When I run some application with wine, it raises following warning:

    Code:
err:winediag:X11DRV_WineGL_InitOpenglInfo Direct rendering is disabled, most likely your OpenGL drivers haven't been installed correctly (using GL renderer "Mesa DRI Intel(R) 946GZ ", version "1.4 (2.1 Mesa 8.0.4)").err:wgl:is_extension_supported No OpenGL extensions found, check if your OpenGL setup is correct!
What error is it exactly pointing at, and how do I fix it? Thanks.

A bit more information please; what display card are you using and which
    driver?

Hi, thanks for the response. :-) I tried it but I still get the same error message.

It points to the fact that the program (which is it, I guess it has a
name) does not find opengl extensions it needs to run.
You fix it by using a better graphics card which supports the
requirements of the program. Other than that there is not too much you
can do, unless the program itself has a setting to run on weak graphics
    hardware.

Just to add that in some cases a better driver helps, but you already
have the best driver and the limitation is your card (I looked up the
model) it supports by hardware only OpenGL 1.4, your warning showed
    which hardware you have.

If that is not a laptop I would consider to buy a cheap nvidia or ati
card (even the cheapest ones have OpenGL 3.x support at least with the
proprietary drivers, the better and a bit more expensive ones support
OpenGL 4.x). If it is a laptop no joy.

Hello, open Yast, Software Management, then install libglew and check if Mesa-Glw(glew) is also installed.
I use wine for some while now but i did not encountered this issue
