saying "both" to the precedent message gives an other error:

    Code:
Error applying mail filter modification - Mail Filter agent
Unknown error. (NO Only resources can modify remote identifyers
    )
    OK
don't know if it's thunderbird (likely, I see this on the client) or divecot.

anybody know where I can see Thunderbird logs?
    thanks

You should not just tell us which message you get but also which command
exactly you used to get that message.
It will also help if you post the content of
    Code:
    zypper lr -d
to see what repositories you have and also tell from which repositories
dovecot, postfix, thunderbird are installed respectively.

I used no command at all, only thunderbird (this happen when fetching the mail)
    .

see my previous mail, it looks like an kde errort (on the client, propagated because of imap).

    on my server:

    Code:
    zypper lr -d

Well, you could switch your KDE to use the KDE:Release:49 repository
which has 4.9.1 if you know that the bug is also fixed in 4.9.1.

yes I did exactly this and it seem to work :-) this repo:
    Code:
     URL : http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Release:/49/openSUSE_12.2/
the bug seems to involve any filter on the client thanks

Thanks for the feedback and confirmation, so after all it was a KDE
issue and there is at least a way to solve it by updating it. Good to know.

Notice I still have some error messages like the one qoted, I hope it's only a remain of the time the bug was active. I just wait right now.
