Have you tried Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode | How to | Firefox Help ?

If that doesn't help, and you are using Firefox 14.0.1, you can Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems | How to | Firefox Help, and create a new profile, which will save all your bookmarks, browsing history, passwords, cookies, and form fill information.

Firefox 15.0 should be released tomorrow.
