Thread: opensuse 12.1 and xen - unable to connect to localhost:8000

  1. #1

Default opensuse 12.1 and xen - unable to connect to localhost:8000

    Hello,

Using opensuse 12.1, Virtual Machine Manager, I immediately got the error "unable to connect to 'localhost:8000': Connection refused"...
I tried to fix /etc/xen/xend-config.sxp substituting
    #xend_unix_server no

    with

    xend_unix_server yes

but that didn't resolve. All services xend and libvirt are running. What's wrong so far ?
Is there something to expect from Xen running on opensuse 12.1 one day?

Is it better to go for VirtualBox or KVM ?
Any advice is more than welcome !

    Cheers

Default Re: opensuse 12.1 and xen - unable to connect to localhost:8000

Should be closed, as Xen install went through as documented in xen:getting started
