Screwed up kickoff application launcher in KDE, Suse 12.1

If I right click on the kickoff application launcher. I get to an “Edit Applications”
program. I did the following.

I added an entry for RealPlayer under Applications -->Multimedia–>Audio Player.
I saved it and, as expected, it appeared in the launcher. However, it didn’t
launch the program, so I went back into the editor and deleted it. That also worked.

But now, I have a problem. In the launcher, when I go to
Applications → Multimedia ONLY the Audio Player tab shows up
(containing Amarok and Kaffine). Nothing else. But in the editor
I can see all the other Multimedia tabs (CD/DVD Burning containing k3b; CD Player
containing KsCD, etc). These tabs no longer show up in the launcher.

I’ve tried moving things around – no change. I thought maybe that I
could create a new tab under Applications named Dummy and move
everything over there. But when I create a Dummy tab using the editor
under Applications it doesn’t show up in the launcher either.

I’ll settle for restoring the launcher back the way it was before I started mucking
with it. I have a backup of my /home directory but I have no idea what the
path/name of the file is that I would need to restore.

Go to Menu-Editor again
Then Edit > Restore to system menu

Does that help

Ahh – the magic reset button. Worked perfectly. Thanks.
