Thread: V-Server or User Mode Linux (UML) support in SLES 11?

  1. #1

Default V-Server or User Mode Linux (UML) support in SLES 11?

The subject line says it pretty much.

Does SLES 11 support running for instance Apache in V-server or does SELS 11 support running UML and then something like Apache within UML? I'm looking for something that can lock down a service like Apache without costing lots of RAM (not much available and not possible to extend; built-in system stuff) to mitigate potential vulnerabilities.

When talking security, does SLES 11 support PAX or similar?

This thread is closed. It is a SLES question and not applicable in these forums.

Sorry johol, hope you find an answer in the SLES/SLED forums where DD pointed you to.
