Default "no targets specified and no makefile found. Stop"

    Hi,
When trying to use "make all" for building the library for Intel's "Crystal Forest" software package, I get the following error:

    Code:
    make[3]: Entering directory `/lib/modules/2.6.32.12-0.7-default/build'
make[3]: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
    make[3]: Leaving directory `/lib/modules/2.6.32.12-0.7-default/build'
    Copying outputs
mv: cannot stat `OsalServices.o': No such file or directory
mv: cannot stat `OsalSemaphore.o': No such file or directory
mv: cannot stat `OsalSpinLock.o': No such file or directory
mv: cannot stat `OsalThread.o': No such file or directory
mv: cannot stat `OsalAtomic.o': No such file or directory
mv: cannot stat `OsalMemMgmt.o': No such file or directory
mv: cannot stat `OsalUsrKrlProxy.o': No such file or directory
mv: cannot stat `OsalCryptoInterface.o': No such file or directory
    make[2]: Leaving directory `/CRF_Release/quickassist/utilities/osal/src/linux/kernel_space'
    make[1]: Leaving directory `/CRF_Release/quickassist/utilities/osal/src'
cp: cannot stat `./linux/kernel_space/build/linux_2.6/kernel_space/libosal.a': No such file or directory
    make: *** [libosal] Error 1

Can anyone shed some light on what is going on? Even a point in the right direction would be helpful.
    Thank you,

    Thank you,
Usually, a source tarball will contain a README and an INSTALL file. Have you read these? Typically, the procedure will be something like

    Code:
    ./configure
    make
    make install
"configure" will generate files needed to compile the application.
