Default KDE starts with strange mouse cursor....

When I start KDE, my mouse cursor is a double crosshair, when I click, I get two beeps from system speaker. This happens two or more times, then cursor becomes normal. Where do I look for logs etc to investigate?

    Platform Version 4.6.5 (4.6.5) "release 7"

This has started to happen recently...

No-one has a clue? I have asked also on the IRC channel... Should I try asking the KDE people?

Maybe .xsession-errors in your home directory. Otherwise talking to KDE people might be the best you can do.

That error file is 1.3Mb! great scrolling lists of errors and warnings! Mostly regarding Soprano (surprise surprise!)
