    Default Hi... Possible New User!!!!

    Hello I am new here,

I was told SUSE was a pretty good distro to use.....

I will be coming from Kubuntu.... since it looks like its loosing support soon, And I have some questions

    1. How hard is SUSE?

    2. How do you install things.... I am use to Munon in Kubuntu... Does SUSE have a graphical interface so I dont have to learn tricky command lines?

    3. No more SUDO APT GET... what does suse have?

4.. How would you install Flash?

    5. How about creating a new user?

    Thanks,
    Christopher

Difficulty is a very subjective question. openSUSE is not difficult to
use once you understand how to use it, but things aren't simplified
solely for the sake of making things easier for new users. The approach
is more about helping users gain confidence and competence in using the
distro rather than catering to people new to Linux.

YaST has a GUI software installer component.

YaST software management and zypper (zypper is the command-line
    interface).

Install the Adobe Flash package from the software repositories.

YaST has a user management component.

I'd encourage you to take a look at a LiveCD (so you can see the features/
functionality) and play with YaST in particular.

Hard? The box is not very hard, it is softer than a brick. It is made from
cardboard. But you have to buy it. I would buy a brick instead, it is harder.
