Do I have to install a new repository or is in the default ones ?

grip is what I use. Should be in the standard repos, but if you tell us
which version of openSUSE you’re using, we can be more specific.

Despite of the fact that my signature says I’m using suse 12.1, I 'm actually using suse 11.4

It is in the multimedia repo, but you also need a tool like “lame” which is
not, it is in packman.

I use k3B in KDE and select to rip cd. K3B gives me the option to rip them as various formats including mp3
In Gnome, grip is a ripper to mp3 according to hendersj.

grip is way better than most, very powerful and customizable. It is not
really a gnome app.
