    Default Choosing gcc compiler

    Hello I would like to compile a program and it's failing, I'd like to try and compile it with the 3.3 version that also comes with Suse 12.1 instead of the default 4.6.2. How can this be done, could someone please advise me?. Thank you.

    Hi
    Try this first;
    Code:
    export SUSE_ASNEEDED=0

    else

    export CC=/usr/bin/gcc-3.3
    export CXX=/usr/bin/g++-3.3
