It’s a bug in the repo I think, just make sure all other updates are updated and leave this one out. I don’t recommend deleting your entire system at this time
I went to Software Management, searched for openSUSE-release, selected it for update. selected the uninstall the old version and update, and it worked… hopefully. Been working the past couple of hours and the system seems OK.

I did the same. Not at all like some warning that 100s and 1000s of
packages getting deleted and the like. I’ll reboot and see what happens.
I’m expecting nothing drastic.
