Default When will NVidia repository be updated with latest 295 nvidia driver???

Nvidia has a new stable driver that fixes some issues on KDE. Why is this driver still not uploaded into the official nvidia repo? I'm talking about version 295.20 (released febr 13) and now there is already an even newer version 295.33.

It is not hard to install it with the so called the hardway.
Good thing with it, there's no need to wait for a while.
Here I installed it already the day it was released.

Enter this URL ftp://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/ in your browser, pick your arch's folder and you can download any NVIDIA driver you need.

SO you have several suggestions, but no one has mentioned SANDI so far. It allows you to load the very latest nVIDIA driver and it will reload that driver automatically if you upgrade your kernel. There are some issues with the kernel 3.3 that have been addressed, but the bash script is at least worth a look here: S.A.N.D.I. - SuSE Automated NVIDIA Driver Installer - Version 1.40 - Blogs - openSUSE Forums

What I suggest is using the latest stable kernel 3.2.13 and you can install it with this script here: S.A.K.C. - SUSE Automated Kernel Compiler - Version 2.62 - Blogs - openSUSE Forums

This is good stuff for anyone that wants to use the very latest stuff, but without the hassel of really understanding it all. Give it a try, you may like it and as always, its Free Free here at open SU SE!!!

Doesn't nvidia control that repo - probably best to ask them...

Yes and no. It is hosted by nvidia, but the package is created by the
community. There is a readme that should mention this.

Ah - thanks for the clarification. After a couple of bad updates a year
or two ago and having to roll back to an earlier version I quit updating
so haven't read the README in some time. Figured it if ain't broke,
    don't fix it.

This readme hasn't changed in years.

    Code:
