Default MonoDevelop refuse to load files

Hi everyone, got a big problem. MonoDevelop seams to work just fine while loading up and even when you try to open up a solution it does it and shows all files... however when you click on a .cs .aspx MonoDevelop just closes without any kind of message.
I believe this has something to do with the fact that I'm using KDE but I don't know were to start looking for reasons for this as I'm quite new to Linux and I never had to debug MonoDevelop before as I was using GNOME then.
If you experienced the same thing you might have a solution to this but really I would be glad to just get a vague direction on where to start looking for problems.

    Regards

    David

    Hello and welcome here.

As you are asking if anybody has the same experience as you, it is imminent that people know what level of openSUSE you have. Else it is difficult to compare.

Well by that I was questioning if anyone else has had the same problem with MonoDevelop, my knowledge of openSUSE is just a few weeks and before that a few weeks of Ubuntu, so basically nothing. I know how to go through the system with ls and cd, use zypper at times but like to stick to YAST if possible.
But my question was really if this problem with MonoDevelop depends on that I'm using KDE and just need some extra libs because of that? Or should it work by just downloading it from there site so that I got a bugged version of it or a failed download?

    hcvv asked essentially the same:

Which version of openSUSE and which version of MonoDevelop?

No, the question is what exact version of openSUSE you have. They will also
want to know what version of monodevelop you have.

    openSuse 11.4 (32 bit)
    MonoDevelop 2.8.6.3 (latest I think)
Have no new updates on progress found something similar at this forum tried out the fix they recommended but still same issue, can load project and solution but as soon as I want to go in to the code mono just vanish.

As that is not the default version, you will also have to say from which
repo you downloaded it. I guess the "mono" repo.
As it is software for programming, an IDE, you might hit more users in the
    programming repo.

You can try to start any crashing program in Linux from inside a terminal.
Many print a message there when they crash.

Got a SIGSEGV while executing native code. This usually indicates
a fatal error in the mono runtime or one of the native libraries
    used by your application.

Was in short the message when started from terminal, will now attempt to for the third time to see if this is because of download error or that I get a more stable release if I try downloading it via Yast instead of MonoDevelops homepage.

    Edit:

Did the reinstall and got this message, don't know if they mean "viritual void" or if there is something else viritual that is creating the problem. Hopefully more valuable for someone with more experience in the system.

    err msg:
