Default firefox want save image again

    Hi
    I am using opensuse 11.4 64 bit

Until a few days ago firefox was able to save an image using the right click on the mouse, now it does not work.
I am aware that this has been a problem in the past, however i have not had the problem since installing 11.4

Can anyone help with this problem
    Thank you

Not a problem here (11.4, FF 10.0.2). Is this a problem for you on all web pages, or just a few in particular? Can you save images here from the forums?

What happens if you drag the image to your desktop?

    try this:

[you can print the following instructions for use while firefox is
closed, or read them in an alternative browser]

    - close all firefox tabs

    - close firefox

    - hold down Alt and press F2, in the resulting popup at the top of the
    screen type
    Code:
    xterm
    and press enter

    - in the resulting popup x terminal window type and enter
    [code]firefox -safe-mode[code]

    - *leave this terminal OPEN* until told to close it, below

    - a "Firefox Safe Mode" window will pop up, do nothing in that window
except press the "Continue in Safe Mode" button

    - a new Firefox window pops up, in it go to any website where you have
had a problem downloaded an image and

    - right click on the image you what to download

    - in the right click menu choose "Save image as"...do NOT click on "Copy
image location" or "Copy image location" or "Copy image"...be careful to
    click on "Save image as"

    - select a place to save the image to

    - go to that place and see if the image is in fact there, named as you
    expected

    - close firefox

    - in the still open terminal copy everything you see there, from the
first character of the first prompt all the way to the end, and
copy/paste it back to here using code tags as described here:
    http://goo.gl/i3wnr like i did below:

    Code:
    denverd@linux-os114:~/Documents> firefox -safe-mode
    *** nss-shared-helper: Shared database disabled (set NSS_USE_SHARED_DB
    to enable).
    denverd@linux-os114:~/Documents>
    then

    - open firefox as you normally do (with an icon or whatever)

    - come back to here http://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php?t=472839
and give your report on whether or not you were able to save an image
following the instructions above, and include your copy/pasted
info...and, tell us what desktop environment and version you are using..

when all of that is done maybe we can move toward a solution..
