Thread: Gnome panel problem

  1. #1

    Question Gnome panel problem

    I installed opensuse 12.1 which kernel is 3.19 with gnome and ubuntu 12.4 which kernel is 3.2 with gnome.
    But I found a little different with gnome panel.
    When I start a application program, the menu of the application was integrated into gnome panel above Ubuntu 11.x while gnome in Opensuse 12.1 is doing old way which menu is stay with application still.
    Could any one teach me how to adjust this?

    Hi
    Sounds like your in falback mode in openSUSE? Can you check via
    system-settings->system info->graphics.

    Else grab a screenshot of both desktops and post 'as an image' on
    http://paste.opensuse.org/
