This time I have doubts about 2 apps in particular. The first one is about aMSN. I switched from Kopete to this one since offline messages seemed to not work, so I tried aMSN. So I asked my friend to send me a message while I was offline, then I logged in and I got nothing, no message. Why are offline messages not working?
Second one is Firefox. I have seen in Windows and other openSUSE installations that when installing Firefox 9 it comes by default with some additional “add-ons” or “functions” located by the navigation tools bar, such as Video Downloader. But those didn’t come by default in my case. What about this?
I’m on openSUSE 12.1 x86_64. Thanks for your help.

Those addons are not part of the distribution. If you want them, add
them in from the Mozilla website.
However I was sure that when installing Firefox 9 in a lap with openSUSE 12.1 32-bit it already included those “addons”. I made the installation in fact. Was it my imagination?

There’s an openSUSE-specific plugin that’s installed, but AFAIK any
others have to be selected by the user - though some could be part of
another RPM, I suppose.
If firefox was previously installed (in an older version) on this machine, then it probably wasn’t your imagination.
Firefox keeps the old plugins, if it can when installing a newer version. So they seem to be installed when you install a newer version.
