Dear all :
I have installed suse 12.1 and I am using mpirun /mpich1 the command: sudo /etc/ssh/sshd start does not work. The output is "sshd: redirecting to systemctl"
I need help to make the ssh daemon to start.

That should still work also with systemd but you can try
I do not sit in front of a 12.1 now, so I cannot test if that is correct.Code:systemctl start sshd.service

You post this now for the third time and I gave you an answer to your
first thread, please check that first instead of posting the same
question all over the place again and again.

Nothing wrong, the output is correct.

Why do you think it did not start?

And check also the firewall. What does "/etc/init.d/sshd status" tell you?

@Makhyoun,
Dear new user, you posted the same question four times. I do not now why,, but this not going to help you any quicker to a good answer. Contrary, you will irritate people. Also it is a lot of work to get this sorted out. Thus you are welcome here, but please do not double post (or worse).
To all others,
I have closed two of the four threads. I will merge the other one still there with this one because it has allready sme answers.
Thus, please only post here (or wait until the merge took place).

I have mine running, I'll stop it:
/etc/init.d/sshd stop
redirecting to systemctl
Now it's stopped.
I start it again:
/etc/init.d/sshd start
redirecting to systemctl
Now it runs again.
