Programs manager window is black into package information frame

I've installed a fresh OpenSuse 12.1 x64 on a VAIO VPCS12L9E (graphic card GeForce310M) with nouveau driver and XFCE.

Everything works well but when I open Yast -> Programs Manager the application presents some black and unreadible parts into package information frame that makes the application hard to use.

Any suggestion to solve the problem?

This is not really a solution (and I am not a XFCE user) but maybe worth
a try.
When you switch to the qt interface for yast, does it look more readable?

Try the qt (kde) software manager: "yast2 --qt sw_single &".

Using qt sw_single interface is readable. It's a good workaround.
But I'm used with gtk.
Any suggestion to solve the issue? Is it a bug?

I doubt that it is really a bug, it is more likely a not so very well
chosen gtk theme for the root account.
Sorry, no idea how to change that, wait for a xfce user to join here.

you _might_ be able to get rid of the black mass by turning off desktop
effects (hmmmm, i actually do not know if those are available in
xfce--sorry)....or, maybe by choosing a different video driver..
