    Default Changing screen res in one click

    Hi all. I'v doing some testing of a script and wine mods for wine for "empire earth I". I have do many clicks to get the screen res changed back to 1400x900. Using a one-click icon, I need to quickly change back. How would go about doing that? Thanks.

    I'd create an icon that calls the xrandr program with the proper
    parameters - those will depend on the capabilities of your card, but in
    general, the command would look something like:

    xrandr -s 0

    On this system, that sets the resolution to 1280x1024 - if you run
    'xrandr' with no parameters, it'll tell you what the capabilities are,
    and with the list of resolutions, start at the first line as '0' and
    increment for each line.

    That did it.

    -->New text file
    Code:
    #!/bin/bash
    #: Title : change to default screen resolution

    xrandr -s 0
    --> change permissions to executable
    --> make icon, enter data.
    --> copy icon to desktop

    Great time saver. Thanks.
