It works with Gnome Shell now, but it doesn't yet work fine with it. I no longer get the Green Screen of Nothingness after installing fglrx and rebooting, so that's a huge plus. I also don't experience any of the graphical corruption that seemed to be plaguing other users. However, when I move windows around on the desktop, they don't move smoothly. All other graphic effects seem fine. Also, Gnome Shell crashes and resets every so often, leaving something like this in my logs:
    Code:

I found a fix for this, found here. It involves disabling sync to vblank in Mutter, the compositor used in Gnome 3. To fix, open /etc/enviroment for editing, and add the following line:
    Code:
    export CLUTTER_VBLANK=none
then restart X (or simply reboot).

If you experience tearing when moving windows around, then simply launch amdcccle and enable tear-free video.
