Default 12.1 Gnome 3 adjust title bar height

    Hi

Simple question maybe, I have adjust my gnome 3 desktop to where I am nearly happy with it. However there is one thing I cannot seem to adjust and that's the height of the title bar and title bar menu.

There is too much screen real estate being lost to them currently and I would like them about 75% of their current size but can't figure out how to do it. gnome-tweak-tools can adjust the font of the title bar but the not the height of the bar itself. I started looking at gsettings but fearerd I miht actually break something.

This is where I am at. As you can see a lot of space is being used by the application title bar, the font is adjusted down already.

    Open a terminal window:

    sudo sed -i "/title_vertical_pad/s/value=\"[0-9]\{1,2\}\"/value=\"0\"/g" /usr/share/themes/Adwaita/metacity-1/metacity-theme-3.xml

    Close terminal window
    Hit ALT-F2,
    Type restart
    Hit enter
