Default Gnome 3: quick maximizing and tiling windows

    Hi

I saw on several sites that gnome offers this awesome way to maximize and to tile windows (simply by dragging them to the top, right or left of the desktop). For some reason, this is not activated on my installation... I don't know if I accidentally disabled it, or if it is not by default in OS 12.1. But I would like to enable it and I cannot find any description in any of the config editors.

    please help!

    I found it!

    go in the gnome-configuration tool
    Desktop>gnome>shell>windows and tick edge_tiling

after you are done, Alt-F2 and "r" or "restart" to restart gnome-shell

    best
