Kmail2: Empty(?) e-mails.

I’ve finally got Kontact working, mostly, but a few e-mails are appearing to
be empty in kmail2. I say “appearing to be empty” because although the
display is empty, even to having no headers, when I hover the mouse over the
offending mail in the message pane, I can see part of the message in the
preview pane.

If I try reply, forward or view source, there still is no message. In one
message, the initial size is said to be 6.9KiB in the message pane but when
I try “forward,” the forwarded message is only listed as 186B. This
particular message was from fate_noreply@suse.de and was received 7 minutes
after one from the same source that was OK. Mails from other sources,
including Mozilla, are affected.

Anyone else having the same trouble?

Apologies for answering my own post but I’ve found that I am not alone; the
problem has been raised on a KDE forum.
