Thread: Xfce on 12.1 - where is mousepad?

  1. #1

Default Xfce on 12.1 - where is mousepad?

How come mousepad is missing in 12.1?
What is Xfce's default text editor supposed to be?

This has been asked before. I'm not sure, but there might even be a bugzilla report on it.

I created a ".txt" file on my desktop, and then double clicked on it. That opened it with "gedit" so I suppose that's the default.

Weird. I branched the package from the 11.4 project and added it in my repo for 12.1. It just built. It didn't even look at the code (Maybe I should have ).
    I installed it on a 32bit machine. It's working.
