I just installed openSUSE 12.1 and ran into the problems already posted with kmail2 (I get an immediate error on opening). I tried some of the solutions proposed here on the forum but I didn’t succeed so I decided to install thunderbird instead. That worked fine and I was able to set up my account without a problem. The difficulty I’m having now is that I am unable to import my kmail folders. When I go to “import” on the tools menu, I select “Mail” and click next. I get a dialog asking me to select what type of file I want to import. The problem is that the text box below it is blank – I can’t select a file type so I can’t proceed. Any advice would be most welcome. Thanks.
