Thread: Configuration Gnome Desktop

  1. #1

    Default Configuration Gnome Desktop

I installed with difficulty (video card not supported) OpenSuse 12.1 Gnome on my pc.
    I immediately noticed two problems:

    Advances setting:

    1) Trash icon visible on desktop in ON but icon does not appear (same problem for computer icon- home icon- mounted volume)

    2) Shell Theme
    not enabled
Shell user theme extension non enabled

    How can I fix this?
    thanks

I can only answer this first question.
You also need to enable that the file browser handles the desktop (is in
    the same dialog screen)

    Hi
You need to install the gnome-shell-extension-user-theme then activate, load via the gnome tweak tool.
