    Default Firefox doesn't detect flash

I have downloaded Firefox 7 from their site

Problem is it doesn't detect flash although flash 10 is installed.

Google Chrome detects & plays flash videos fine.

Is using FF from the repos a must ?

    Is there a workaround ?

In OpenSource nothing is a must. But I guess that the FF (and all other software that is part of the openSUSE distribution) on the repos are put there for a reason. The reason IMHO being: intergration in the openSUSE environment to make it easy to install and run it out of the box.

When you want to do this yourself, you are of course welcome to try and do that integration yourself. You are even welcome to ask questions about it. But there is no must.

I found that the FF ver in the repos is currently same as the FF update channel. So using FF from the repos without any flash issues.
