    Default accidentally removed packages

Hi, i have one problem, i know that's total fail, but i need now just help or advice . I use opensuse for more than a year now. I wanted install curl to make application in codeblock. long story short, i removed curl, and that was obviously needed for all other packages, and bunch of other packages was removed (kde4, amarok, kwrite...). I clicked next because i thought it can't be that simple to mess things so bad(how stupid...). i know have icewm enviroment when i start opensuse, but good thing is i have dual os, windows 7. my question is: is there some other way to reinstall all packages without reinstalling whole opensuse system, and yes - my network don't work, but maybe i can install packages from dvd...

    Thanks for any help

You have to look at the list of things it will remove.

If yast will work, it probably will suggest to install things. You can try
to tell it to install the kde or gnome patterns and that will pull in a lot
    of needed things.

    If not, try zypper.

thank you for reply, it's just i think i can't run yast2 window for installing software, i can run yast for change settings etc. I can install software with zypper but when i try to install something it need more libraries, no matter, i think i will rather reinstall whole opensuse. good thing is ( and that is one thing why is linux so much better than windows on my opinion) is all settings are saved in home folder. I will just reinstall os and all software that i had and copy back all .~ folders.
