Hi all

I've got OpenSUSE 11.4, kernel 3.0.4 (BTW, Is there an upgrade available ?), KDE 4.7.1 and Dual screen on my Laptop

But when trying to use KDE without the second screen, I have to deal this... stupid issue : plasma's wallpapers recovers the screen and the only thing to see is : mouse & wallpaper. The applications all run properly, but behind the wallpaper. So I have to kill plasma-desktop to interact with the windows...
Is there a way to set up profiles (using the same user) for display options ? even if I have to choose at boot, you know, kind of
- OpenSUSE 11.4, kernel 3.0.4, dual screen
- OpenSUSE 11.4, kernel 3.0.4, no dual screen
And I have one more question : how can I reduce heat from CPU ? KDE 4.6.5 didn't make my CPU hotter than 55°C (131°F) and now, it's around 62°C (144°F), take a look at :

Of course, since I can, I do use QtCurve, Kwin effects & so on.... But still old KDE wasn't that hot. (Don't tell me to downgrade KDE : I won't )

Best Regards,
