OAFIID:TomboyApplet Error

Greetings,

Using openSUSE 11.4 (fresh installation), after every login an error dialog appears stating: “The panel encountered a problem while loading ‘OAFIID:TomboyApplet’” and asks whether or not to delete the applet. So far I have not deleted the applet.

Several clean installs and updating all packages has not resolved the problem. Also, applying the workaround in comment number 2 of Bugzilla Bug #702354 does not solve the error dialog on every login.

Any fix for this bug? How can the error dialog be eliminated at every login? What other problems is the bug creating or really how broken is 11.4?

TIA!

Forgot to mention that this problem is occurring with the gnome desktop, don’t know about others. Also, reported in .xsession-errors is the following:

** (gnome-panel:8133): WARNING **: Failed to load applet OAFIID:TomboyApplet:
System exception: IDL:Bonobo/GeneralError:1.0 : Child process did not give an error message, unknown failure occurred
